Key Violation Error?

I have a TTable object that i am trying to add records to from a text file, I
am parsing the text file for all ',' and seperating them into feilds then i add
them to the table using appendrecord. The problem is that half way thru the
table I get a key violation Error.

My question is Two Fold:

1. What Exactlly is a key violation Error
2. How can i get a key violation error if i havn't defiend any keys.
