Is it still possible to botain the Delphi 3.0 compiler?
I have Delphi programs that would only compile with 3.0 version.
Thanks!

It won't install on a 64 bit OS unless you know something I don't

If the program isn't an IDE extension, you might want to update the source
to make it compileable on Delphi 5-7.

I would install it on a 32 bit machine, Jamie. No problem
Thank you.

This isn't a warezoo message board, I don't know what you would
expect to find for answers or offers here, however, if you were more
perceptive you may have been doing better by now..

Have you visited my site lately?

Then I guess you don't need Delphi 3.0 any longer..

I wonder what makes them only compile in D3. Must programs of that time
can even be made to compile in DXE3.

I've move code forward from Delphi 1 onward. The biggest change for me
was integer pointer math (16 to 32 bit , and again 32 to 64 bit), and
widestrings becoming the norm.

I love how the compiler does the logical thing of converting or extending
types as long as you declare your variables and function parameters types
correctly.

That's it for my love in with Delphi this week, resume your reading.

WideStrings have never become the norm. Did you mean long strings?

And that doesn't explain why you need Delphi 3 for your code.
