Hi. I am a beginner with Delphi and Windows95, and also a newer to
newgroups.

I am facing with the problem of making my applications
communicating between them with standard messages:

MESSAGE_ID = WM_USER + MY_MESSAGE_CONST
lParameter
hParameter

I found myself able to write an application with windows communicating
between them with SendMessage and responding
sincronously with standard procedures or asincronously by starting a new
thread.

Hower I'd like to be able to write SEPARATELY COMPILED applications
communicating between them.

My questions are:

1- Wich Windows feature should I use? [ Messages? Mail? Other? ]
2- Where can I find documentation on that feature?

Many, many thanks.

Named pipes for example. See CreateNamedPipe for starting point of serach
in the Win32 API on-line help files.

You could also use TCP/IP local communication if you ever plan to
communicate between different computers.
