Sorry for a stupid post like this one, but I have forgottem the bl**dy
password for SYSADMIN. Consequently I can't start the Server. I am suing the
1.7 beta version of WarFTP Daemon.

Does anyone have any ideas please?

Thanks and regards
Collin

Start up the War-Interface first. THEN start the server from the
Interface. Here you dont need the password.
Now change the password.
Bye,
Roland

Use the following info to rebuild the Sysadmin account
read the following, this was extracted from the WarFtp Help file by
seraching for "command line" and selecting "command line arguments":

War FTP Daemon (war-ftpd.exe) can be started with the following command line
arguments:

-restore:
Deletes and re-creates the "Sysadmin" user. This flag can be used to get
access to the server after the password is lost. The password for the
re-created "Sysadmin" account is "Sysadmin".
