Description: Job Responsibilities This position will provide support to Worldwide business as follows: support closing, , reconciliation to the financial statements and consolidated various financial weekly financial reporting support, forecast and budget. Analyst-specific responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): month end closeout activities and prepare/analyze monthly forecasting, account reconciliations, ad hoc analysis for senior management, variance analysis and financial controls, review capital appropriation and take on the ACE team lead role. The ideal candidate has a strong desire to learn about all aspects of finance within a business unit, will have excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, and a high level of motivation. The position requires a good understanding of GAAP and excellent PC skills. Education Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Experience/Qualifications Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years finance related experience. Business Systems: Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, powerpoint, Access), J.D.Edwards, HFM, Strategy Data Query Software Departments Interacted With / Key Customers: Business unit controller, GMs and financial managers in the U.S and oversea. Additional Comments Competencies Developed as a Result of the Position: - Customer focus: Providing business unit management with financial analysis that is useful for decision-making is key to success in this position. - Analytical thinking: The analyst in this position will have opportunity to develop analytical skills as they are applied to all aspects of a business units financial activity. - Communication skills: Interact with many different functions and levels throughout the organization. - Focusing on results: Opportunity to improve processes, lead initiatives that affect all of finance entities in U.S, Asia and Europe. - Teamwork: part of a small team where helping each other out benefits the entire group and provides cross-training. - The candidate must be a self starter and organized.
