Does anyone know how to eliminate startup file entries? I try to "uncheck"
certain applications in the Sys Config Utility, but some still come up
regardless. Like my mouse control program -how annoying!

to
check in your startup folder in the start menu.. programs can launch from
there.
if not..you should be able to stop it from the sys config.. are you sure you
looked in all the places and then enabled " selective startup"?
it should work... if not you might be in for some registry editing..but
thats the last resort..

I do this by START/PROGRAMS/STARTUP/(startup entry), and right-clicking on
it, and selecting delete.
