Compaq Dimms

Hi,

I've got a P3-450 with one 128Mb SD-ram memory simm. I've got an extra
Compaq 32Mb simm. when I plug it in, it only reads 147Mb of ram.
When it should read approx. 160Mb. The number on the simm is 278030-002.
I don't know if its edo or SD-ram. Either way, there's something lost.
Can anyone tell me what the problem is?

Although 13mb is a strange difference are you sure the Compaq doesn't use
Shared memory Architecture.

In other words, so much of the system ram is dedicated to the Video?
