Just recently bought a Nogatech USB TV tuner.
The unit can't seem to be able to adjust to the proper frequencies of the
cable stations. The cable is 100% when connected to a regular TV or cable
box. The USB TV tuner scans the TV band but cannot find any stations? and
when we try to watch TV we see only a snow picture on every cable channels
and the audio is also not clear. It does that also if we connect an antenna
and try the off-air local stations. Is there an ajustment somewhere that
can tune the unit to dertermine the right frequencies, like a fine tune
adjustments? It seems like (example) for cable station #15 instead of
behind on 600mhz (example) it is on 605MHZ and therefore it's like every
channel is off by a few frequencies... The radio audio works fine and it
can find all the channel available on the dial.
The rest of the unit works great: video input, audio out and in.

Sounds like you have a bad item there.
I have two different ATI card, one an AIW, and the other a TV Wonder, that
both worked fine on air or cable.
BTW, cable channels are, in some cases, in the frequencies between channel
6 and channel 7.
Channel 2 through 13 are the same frequencies as the air channels
You should be able to find a list of what channels are on what frequency.

meantime, take that tuner back...
