Technology. FC-PGA are 0.18 micron (code name coppermine) and FC-PGA2 are
0.13 micron (code name Tualatin). Some pins on Tualatin's are electrically
different from Coppermine's therefore they will not work on mobos not
specifically designed for them.

I thought so. But the real question is does anyone know were I can get a
FC-PGA (not 2) Pentium III, from a place that ships internationally AND
accepts credit cards? I would like a 1.13GHz one, but a 1GHz or even a
993MHz will be OK. They don't seem to be in production any more, so I'm not
too bothered if it's a used one. I would prefer to get it from somewhere in
Europe. Please - can anyone help me? I'm too cheap to buy a new MB, and I
like the one I have now anyway.

A distributor in UK that frequently has discontinued products is
http://www.kmscomponents.com
The fastest coppermine P3's were 1GHz, Celerons 1.1GHz.
