A stack of papers was leaning against the out tray and blocking it. After I
cleared the resulting paper jam, it still wouldn't print. It said that the
printer had lost connection to the computer. Both the power and resume lights
were flashing, and the print cartridge cradles slam into the side of the
printer so hard that my printer scoots across my desk.
I tried disconnecting the printer, unplugging the printer, fiddling with the
cradles...nothing works. What happened? Is this a common problem with my type
of printer? How can it be resolved? Thanks for your help. You can email or
post your replies.
