Advice needed how to use firewire, DAZZLE doesn't work.

Hi,

I have a digital camera, Canon MV650i, and a firewire card installed,
the device drivers installed automatically but the application software
supplied with the card ,DAZZLE MS5, doesn't install. It tries to access
updates on the DAZZLE site but the link isn't there and when I give up
there doesn't seem to be any useful software on the disc. I have never
used firewire, is there a simple way to get it working to get the video
off the camera or is it totally dependent on the DAZZLE software or some
other package.

Do I return the card & DAZZLE and get something else ?

Tried on another machine installs OK. Suspect disk space problem.
