There are many KVM switches advertised, but I have often heard of problems.
Does anyone have a KVM switch to recommend?

I have the same exact setup you do - for the exact same use. Don't pay the
$75.00 plus for a switch!!!

>Just bought a Chinese made switch from a local electronics shop for $25.95.
>Works great, no bells or whistle (doesn't need them). A/B switch / 2 video in,
>1 out / 2 PS/2 in, 4 out.
The problem with most of these manual switches is that they really
clobber your video, especially at the higher refresh rates.
I can recommend the Linksys 4-port KVM for its features, but be
warned--it is pricey (about $170 or so).

Belkin Omniview. They also make something called an OmniCube which
only has PS/2 for keyboard and mice which is a bit cheaper. You need
something expensive because some computers need tpo always have a
keyboard attached, or simulated by electronics ( otherwise the first
time you switch away the keyboard goes away).
