For those of you complaining about Price Watch....I have never had a bad
experience shopping from vendors on price watch. I have skipped a lot over
because they looked....umm..untrustworthy, but here are some that are good:
ComputerComputer.com
AccessMicro.com
Advanced Design of Kentucky (http://www.advanceddesignky.com/)
Universal Computer Dist. (http://www.ucdweb.com)
All of these companies either myself or my roommate has shopped with no
problem. The prices may not always be the lowest, but you will get a pretty
good deal. At accessmicro, I spent under $100 on two 366 Celerons w/
heatsink and fan in around Oct or Nov of last year. that included shipping.
Don't bad mouth pricewatch as much. And as far as the monitors where
shipping was being padded....you were still getting the price listed on
Price watch....you just found a company with high shipping rates. Just look
into companies before you buy.

I too have had nothing but good experiences with Price Watch companies. (In
fact one mentioned in the previous post, Access Micro, is one of the best
companies I've dealt with period!) Consistantly the prices are much lower than
other multi-vendor price sites (Intelli-price etc.) and many of the auction
sites which list mainly used merchandise! I spend a fair amount of time
comparison shopping in my local area (Madison, WI) as well as nationally, and I
can honestly say that the service and selection that you find through these
companys are often equal or better than those elsewhere. In fact the only time
I have personally heard someone "dissing" Price Watch is other retailers
saddled with over-priced merchandise which they must take a loss on to stay
competitive. One needs to do their research before buying, of course, but
until someone shows me a better multi-vendor page I'll continue to recomend PW.
