USR 33.6 Upgrade

Hello! I need the USR 33.6 upgrade disk. It is on the Net, but it is
ver1.0.0 and my modem is ver1.0.2 or somthing like that. I have a USR 28.8
Winmodem, it's only about 1.5 months old. Please help!

I have the same modem, and I found both an upgrade file, and a
REPLACEMENT file available at USR's web site. I used the replacement
file, uninstalled the 28.8 software, and installed the 33.6 software.
Works great, but I've yet to acheive a 33.6 connect. If this doen't
work for you, don't sweat it ... You're not really missing anything
yet IMHO. Hope this helps. BTW, save the file to your hard drive, and
decompress it before putting it on a floppy. There is room if you
don't copy the compressed file to floppy.
