Hi, I'm looking for a motherboard that can support dual processors (Intel
Pentium III up to 1000 MHz). I found one by Abit, but then i looked closer and
I noticed it supported dual Socket 370 processors, and the Intel Pentium III's
I'm looking at are Slot 1. Can somebody help my find a good dual Pentium III
motherboard? Thanks in advance.

ASUS P2B-D, P2B-DS, and various boards from Supermicro fit the bill
quite nicely if you can 'live' with a 100MHz bus speed (P2B-D and P2B-DS
don't support 133MHz Coppermines officially).

ASUS has announced some new boards with dual processors based on some
new ServerWorks chipsets. Those probably are more interesting at this
point in time than the 2+ year old i440BX boards that I mentioned above.

As far as Slot 1 and socket 370, it's anyone's guess as to which
packaging is going to become dominant in higher-end systems (ie: ones
with dual CPU's). Intel seems to be bringing back the socketed format
for their lower grade processors, but they ship all of their
top-of-the-line processors with the Slot 1 format. Makes you go hmmmm..
