I've run into a few computers that won't recognize a USB keyboard (or
mouse) until Windows is loaded. Sometimes they won't even work when
Windows is running in safe mode. This can be a problem if you want to
change settings in the BIOS, or need to work in safe mode. PS2
keyboards don't have this issue.
Is there any patch that allows you to change BIOS when using the Microsoft
wireless Bluetooth devices?

You can't enter the BIOS using Bluetooth devices, regarding the Wireless
destop Bluetooth keyboard/mouse combo from Microsoft.

Coreless is a different argument, as you will have to plug it in
somewhere anyway.
And adding a hub creates more ports......
USB. It frees up IRQ's
Or an internal PCI card, i have 10 USB ports here, and a further 4 port mini
hub due.

Great news!...so i buy this dongle and it'll work....right?, work with the
Microsoft keyboard/mouse devices?
See...i am thinking about going Bluetooth.
USB uses toooooo much CPU time, slows your system down 10% or more in
most cases.
If you must us USB, put it on stuff you turn on and off, printers ect.
Or better yet use Firwire, or atleast USB 2.
But PS2 it is.
Only Printer and Flight stick is USB, and MODEM @*&@^@*87@, the next
one will be ethernet :)
