Better change that subject to 'Gigabyte have confirmed there are NO
problems...'

Looking like they may be a little worried about the the P4, perhaps Intel
have branched out into news reporting.

>From Tom's Hardware:

"Earlier today we reported that AMD representative Ward Tisdale disputed
a recent article in the British information technology web journal, The
Register. The article claimed Gigabyte was delaying shipment of its
GA-7DX AMD760 based motherboard because of chipset problems. In short,
Mr. Tisdale said that the AMD760 is healthy and that products will be
delivered as scheduled with systems available this month.
...
Gigabyte’s Marketing Planner, Lillian Chen, fully supported Mr.
Tisdale’s assertion. In fact, Miss Chen told Tom’s Hardware Guide that
these motherboards are already shipping to system integrators with
products for the retail channel coming later. She was uncertain of the
source of The Register article, but wanted to clarify any confusion that
may have come from it."

So *somebody* is confused, or lying. Since the boards are supposedly
"already shipping", I guess we'll know one way or another within the
next few weeks, as the review sites get their hands on them.

Let's hope AMD doesn't "pull an i820" with this chipset...

Oh, yes, those stories from the register, they are always true. NOT!

This was said by a Gigabyte represntative. Today, an AMD representative
didn't confirm any problems with the AMD 760 chipset. SO this is not true!

That would be a step up for you, attempting to learn from your betters

How predictable: Trent posts false information intended to zing
AMD users, which totally backfires on him; I respond with a zing
that Trent doesn't like about the PIII 1.13 Ghz fuck-up
by Intel; Trent naturally tries to change the subject.

Do you suppose that degenerative bone condition you have has started
affecting what's left of your brain? or have you always been a
dim-witted, mouth-breathing encephalitic fucktard?

Hey Bwian, if I had wanted to talk to somebody with your IQ, I would

be at the supermarket talking to the produce. Why don't you go back to
doing what you do best; picking your nose and making boogerballs for
your mucous collection.

Bwian, your posts are guaranteed to bring a smile to my face. It's
probably wrong of me to attack such a helpless moron, whose posts are
redolent of a small, frightened bunny transfixed by the glare of a
juggernaut's headlights, but I'll just have to live with that. You
must pride yourself on your ability to be so utterly and consistently
wrong.
