Hello , i am new to this forum and i really need alot of help.
I have this computer here that i am trying to repair on my own . When i
turn the
computer on it shuts back off automatically in 3 seconds. I then took the
computer
apart to try and troubleshoot the problem to see what is causing the
computer to
shut off. I've noticed that when i UNPLUG the 4 PIN 12 Volt POWER CONNECT
from the
MOTHERBOARD, the computer BOOTS up FINE with no problems. The SECOND i
connect the
4 pin power supply cable ... i see a SMALL BLUE SPARK and the COMPUTER
then SHUTS
OFF ... PLEASE HELP .

You should never connect power plugs when a machine is
running.

If the computer boots and runs fine without the 4 pin plug
why not run that way?

How about giving us all some details... brand of computer or mobo type
if homebuilt and the CPU type.
