First, thanks to everyone who replied to my last plea for help - you
people are great!

Now, another plea. I need a utility that will create a text file out of
the "hypertext" file used by the DOS 6 on-line help. With all due respect
to Microsoft, I think the decision not to include a full-fledged DOS
manual with DOS 6.x was a bad one. YOu can print the information from the
on-line help, but only one section at a time.

Second, has anyone ever heard of a utility that will intercept a "print
screen" and save it to a text file?

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advance! >Brock Wood I have a simple DOS utility to capture print screens. It is called LPTX. I am sure it has been updated, etc. I dont use it very often - you can probably find it out there at some anonymous FTP site. If you cannot get it, send e-mail and you download a copy (old) from me. It is shareware!. The following was excised from the doc file for LPTX. Again, it is old - 1987 vintage. Version 7.00 (C) Copyright 1987 by Mark DiVecchio, All Rights Reserved (C) Copyright 1987 by Kepa Zubeldia, All Rights Reserved DISCLAMER : This program tries to perform a function which is not supported by DOS. It will work sometime and will not work other times. That kind of explains why you don't see this type of program on the market. I have tested it under DOS 2.x and 3.x. In particular, under 3.x, I used dBase-II. I have not tested it with dBase-III or dBase-III+. Mark C.
