Hi all,

Looking for a program that will function like treepad, but with more
features. Any available?
Specifically, I'd like to have clickable hyperlinks, and of course, treepad
doesn't have this unless one pays for the shareware version :(

Any suggestions (that is, on topic suggestions) are welcome.

Yes! Thank you for that information, I wasn't aware of that work-around :)

There is yet another way to activate hyperlinks in Treepad, which I
discovered by accident: highlight the hyperlink, hold down the
control button, then click the highlighted link.

TreeDbNotes Text Editor has all of the standard Text and Paragraph Editing
functions that MS Word or WordPad has (font, color, size, background color,
tables, images, symbols, etc.). These advanced Paragraph and Text formating
Options allow you to make your notes distinctive.

The powerful Table Editor (Insert, Edit, Delete Tables; Insert or Delete
Rows/Columns; Edit Cell colors) is easy to use while giving a professional
look.

It has highly customizable toolbars and shortcuts that will help you
optimize your work.
It contains both a print and print preview function to allow you to review
your work prior to printing.

Its far and away the best tree-type application I've found and I've tried
them all! It made me give up TreePad Plus...

S -

I just started using the Guide. It uses RTF notes instead of TEXT.

Pasting in a hyperlink doesn't activate it by default, but hyou just
hilight the link, right click and select Toggle Hyperlink and it's live.

It doesn't have a "grabber" so I wrote one in autohotkey, If you want it,
post back and I'll send you the script.

Thanks for the offer, but treedbnotes appears to fill the bill, so far :)
