I thought alt.video.desktop would be a good place
to post this but everyone is asleep there.

I was able to bumble my way through the
instructions in German - couldn't find an English
version - and was able to work through to the last
step - the cropping of pieces at the beginning and
end of the film.

The Crop/Preview tab shows the video and has
features for starting the flim, pausing it,
stopping it - all these worked ok - but the others
that seem related to cropping didn't do anything
when clicked on.

All the instructions I found were

"Wenn Sie die Videogröße oder den Startpunkt und
Endpunkt des Filmes verändern wollen, klicken sie
auf Crop."

which says "if you want to change the video size
or the start- and end-points of the film, click on
Crop." - Pretty skimpy instruction. Well, I did
that and the symbols relating to the cropping were
still inactive.

Anyone know the rest of the instructions?

TIA

Move the sliding cursor to the point where you want your project to
start. You'll see the time indicator just above change. When you are
satisfied with your starting point, click on the [ button. The starting
point should now be correct in the "start time" window on the left.

Do the same thing for the end of the movie, clicking on the ] button.

The [<- and ->] buttons will reset the movie to the original start and
end times.

The sliding cursor only works when the movie isn't playing, ie when
you've used either the pause or the stop button. You should use the
start button only to fine tune your start and end times.

I hope my explanations were clear enough. Please forgive me if they
weren't: English is not my native language and I'm not a technical writer!

I use version 2.0.6.7.
