ClipGrab is a very good Windows/Linux/Mac freeware youtube/facebook video
search engine & downloader GUI which incorporates yt-dlp but you have to
get the correct known good version.
Both the bad and good version are on the home page
https://clipgrab.org/
The bad version has the big fat bright all caps exclamation button.
The good version is in almost unreadable teeny tiny text almost hidden.
Good.

Here's what it does:
1. ClipGrab can run a search for you (which yt-dlp doesn't do, AFAIK)
2. ClipGrab shows the results in a nice thumbnail view with titles
3. ClipGrab downloads the video using pulldown options for quality & format
I think the yt-dlp only does that third thing, which I admit, isn't that
big of a deal since we can all run a command in the command line ourselves.
But those two things combined with that third thing is what makes me
recommend ClipGrab over all the other youtube downloader GUIs I know of.
Here's my recommendation, having tested EVERY program suggested so far.
Windows: ClipGrab
Linux: ClipGrab
Mac: ClipGrab
Android: NewPipe
iOS: you're fucked
