Hi Pooh. Been 15 months. Thought maybe you were recycling your

The firmware on the #FAKE USB pendrives easily tricks M$'s
"disk management" which reports the drives as 1 or 2 TB.
90% of the comments on AmaKon are positive. Until the
customers write more than 64 GB (the real size of the drives), but by
then the warranty has expired. I'm not sure if Amakon allows people to
complain after the expiry.
People in the GRC groups are commenting on Amakon about
ValiDrive when they purchase a #FAKE. Just maybe it'll expose Amakon's
scam. Maybe not. You never see the comments unless you scroll all the
way down.
Linux is not fooled by the firmware. But few people use a real
OS these days.

PS Iffy firmware can automatically install all kinds of
malware. If the sellers are willing to sell fake drives, why not add a
little ransomware? Shit might be interested in the scheme. Or maybe
not. Even he doesn't stoop as low as Jeff. B.
