Yrrah, does the current build allow one to turn off that thumbnail view
which appears when you move the vertical slider? That thing always gets
in the way when I'm trying to adjust a "fit width" view page.

Yes.

It can be, but IME there have been several occasions where I have found
it to get in the way of what I'm doing.

Maybe I'll contact the developers. They're very responsive to feedback.
One of the reasons I really like the program.

Isn't there an "X" exit button in the upper right hand corner of the
thumbnails pane?

Yes, but that doesn't affect the thumbnail I'm referring to. What I'm
talking about is the small thumbnail which appears only when you drag
the vertical slider to scroll through a document.
