Hummingbird's socketpuppets in ACF

Hummingbird/Chris Millbank gets into various losing arguments on ACF.
So now we have sockpuppets such as Goyen, Derald (nice guy for now
until needed to make foul-mouth attack similar to the ones on John
Corliss and me a while ago). Hummingbird also has well-behaved
sockpuppets which will be used later when it's time for a foul-
mouthed attack.
Amongst the recent spate of losing arguments Hummingbird has had is
one with Susan Bugher and "Q" ("Screen Recorder Recommendation
Wanted") in which Hummingbird came out decidedly worse off, weird
powerdown suggestions to a new poster, an amazing Lame and Audacity
suggestion, endless incautious hyping of hard links, various sexual
comments to me, and so on.
Mr Bottoms wisely shows noticeably less enthusiasm for the mutual
admiration society in which he and Hummingbird were once such keen
participants. Poor Hummingbird is then left to fight back in the
ways he knows best.
Like a child throwing a tantrum, Hummingbird now he makes his
sockpuppet postings and continues his lost arguments by getting the
spoof sockpuppets to make foul-mouthed and provocative attacks.
Give it a rest Hummingbird.
We're tired of all this.
We can see your game too easily.
In fact, I shouldn't have to even make this post at all except to
head off the almost imminent flame wars in ACF which you and your
sockpuppets are always intent on stirring up.

It's a fact that Hummingbird *DOES* use foul-mouthed sock puppets and
engages in stalking like behavior in this group. He's even taken it to
sending profanity-laden emails to my private (although not my main)
email account using his hummingbird name and stalking me in other
groups. Franklin is doing nothing more than delivering perfect karma to
Chris Millbank IMO. I hope he keeps it up. Millbank deserves to have
somebody like Franklin calling him out. If hummingbird-Millbank ever
grows up, then I'm sure Franklin will leave him alone. However, since
that's unlikely to occur, I'm very glad that Franklin has stepped up to
the plate to deal with him.
As a suggestion Canetoad, you should consider filtering out Franklin's
posts if they bother you. Unlike Millbank, Franklin tends to not use
sock puppets unless he's making a point and setting up such a filter
should be extremely easy. I, for one though, will continue to read his
posts.

I suspect the poster who calls themself "Canetoad" can be forgiven as
they have not observed and had to put up with the sustained malicious
attempts Hummingbird made over many months to damage this group so that
it became unusable.
On the other hand it has never been my intention to cause damage to this
group. Sure, responding to Hummingbird (and back then Mr Bottoms)
required many posts and this created unavoidable noise. I am pleased
the harm they intended never came to pass.
I'll pick up on one point you made where you wrote I do not tend to use
sockpuppets. I would like to say that I do not use *any* sockpuppets in
this group. Some time ago there were some postings of mine in which I
varied my name but even these postings were always easily identifiably
as being from me.
Canetoad can filter me out easily. But he will find it altogether much
harder to filter out the many names and servers Hummingbird uses to post
under the guise of foul-mouthed sockpuppets.

Hummingbird morphs the names of his sockpuppets.
This way Hummingbird hopes to create an impression of several people all
supporting him.
A killfile is not helpful against such determined deception.
