Hi,

Title pretty much says it all. Checked PWH, and could find nothing but
DB programs (I want to edit the actual file).

I have stumbled upon "abcavi" which should work, but I'm hoping
someone has a better suggestion.

Thanks.

Damn Dewey, that one looks like a pretty good find. What is it about it
that you don't like? Just curious.

Hi John,

First, I have almost no background with multimedia software. Anything
that even looks like a problem, IS a problem.

That said, my first try caused the following warning -

"File *.avi will be truncated by @#$ bytes. Usually it happens when
you have changed existing tags and new tags shorter than previous
(usually not greater than several kilobytes). But sometimes some
errors in the structure of AVI file could lead to shorter size. In
the last case, your file might become damaged. Do you want to apply
the changes?"

This may be nothing, but I don't know that.

BTW, I have since saved my edits to a copy of that file and edited
another. Both files are fine and the second caused no warning
message.
