Feedreader isn't too bad at all.
Ampetadesk is good as well but a bit heavy on the resources.
You could try NewsMonster

The free version have a few sponsored newsfeeds but thats about it for
ads - It doesn't put them in your face like so many other ad-supported
programs.
Normal versions require that you have a stable (read:release) version of
Mozilla 1.x or Netscape 7.x but you can also install a standalone
developer version.
I tried it on Mozilla Firebird .. worked .. but I couldn't remove it
again and it messed a few things up. The normal Mozilla suite should
work fine though.

I used to use Amphetadesk, but I now much prefer www.sharpreader.com. The
only problem with it is that it is heavy on system resources and requires
the .NET framework. If these bother you, try www.feedreader.com.

Remove the numbers and change "invalid" to "net" to reply.
