Get rid of it.
You say it 'seems to work', but you've no idea what it's doing. Sounds
crazy to me.

Kerio 2.1.5 works GREAT on XP boxes. Try uninstalling and reinstalling
it if that's what you're running.
If you're running Vista or 7 I'd try the XP compatibility mode or
uninstall it and find another firewall.

I seem to remember something with MS Distributed Transaction Coordinator
(msdtc.exe) if it was disabled or set to Manual,something with server
authorizations of ports.Been a while....

I think I know exactly what I'm talking about thank you. the OP almost
certainly shouldn't be running a so called software firewall at all, but
it's impossible to say more as we know absolutely nothing about the OP's
system.
Except, of course, that a very old version of a very defective application,
subsequently admitted by the firm which acquired it, was in use. And used
by some one who, by their own admission, didn't know what it was doing.
I stick to what I said at first. More to the point do you know what you're
talking about?
