Rename Master is a freeware utility designed to rename multiple files
with a just few clicks. Anyone that has worked with websites, file
archives, or collections of music, videos, or pictures has probably
spent way too much time renaming hundreds of files.

This utility will add, remove, or replace parts of the filename with
ease and also supports renaming via file properties, MP3 tags, JPEG
JFIF and EXIF tags, Video tags, and text files. Batch renaming that's
simple to use, yet still very powerful.

Bulk file renaming programs are like image editing programs in that I,
for one, like to have more than one of them. This is because each
usually has features that other such programs lack.

Eg. I also use "Bulk Rename Utility":

I use Better File Rename.

It's sort of "free" - but you have to pay $19.95 at first.

Thing is, it incorporates into the shell. All you have to do is gang
select a group of files; right-click menu for BFR to launch the interface;
then have your way with the files. Just like girls. Do whatever you want
with them and they love it so much you can do it again if you want to.

Corliss' mother was like that. She was "free" but you had to give her
$2.00 or a snort of some drugs. Since I didn't have any drugs...
