Hello,

Not very sharp with this, so please bear with me.

Have a new video camcorder, a JVC GZHM 450 BUS.

The Manual is fairly good, but not all that good.
At least not for someone in their 70's, like me.

Would like to ask the following, please:

a. How can you tell if the camera is recording video to the camera's
main internal
memory, or to the extra Memory Card that I bought and put in the
cameras slot
for these cards ?

b. How do I switch from one to the other, or is it automatic ?

c. For either, how can I see how much recording time is left for the
memory being used ?

BTW: is this the "best," or the appropriate, Newsgroup/Forum for
questions like this ?

Much thanks,
Bob

I don't own the camera you are asking about.
If you leave the memory card out of the camera and the camera does not give
you an error message then you are recording to the internal memory.

I suggest that you slow go over the options for your camera but accessing
the cameras menu and make some notes of the settings that are important to
you.

You could try looking for this camera in google and might learn more about
it and its operation by reviews on the internet.
There might also be a forum for JVC cameras that could be found by
searching in google.com
