Hi there,

How would you handle the following handset to use it for dial-up Internet access?

[13162.838953] usb 3-1.2.1: new full-speed USB device number 10 using ehci-pci
[13162.950159] usb 3-1.2.1: New USB device found, idVendor=22b8, idProduct=40c0
[13162.950164] usb 3-1.2.1: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0
[13162.950167] usb 3-1.2.1: Product: W180 Mobile
[13162.950169] usb 3-1.2.1: Manufacturer: Motorola
[13165.220968] cdc_acm 3-1.2.1:1.0: Zero length descriptor references
[13165.220979] cdc_acm: probe of 3-1.2.1:1.0 failed with error -22
[13165.221006] usbcore: registered new interface driver cdc_acm
[13165.221007] cdc_acm: USB Abstract Control Model driver for USB modems and ISDN adapters

Which handset would you use in Germany for such purposes?

I think everyone would like to call attention to the Siemens M65 here, in order to achieve this.

Incidentally, I will use the Linux kernel version 4.12.X and above for this purpose.

Just leave a friendly thought to such a venture and I would be grateful.

cheers,
Andreas
