Elven/Faerie Gathering

Greetings Kindred!

High Summer reigns in woods and plains, and the
elves and faeries are gathering to celebrate this
coming Solstice. Walking the Thresholds is a festival
designed just for elves, faefolke, and Otherkin, to
be held this coming weekend at Poleridge Campground
in Perry OH, approx. 30 minutes east of Cleveland.

We realize that not everyone who would be with us
can be physically at the festival. Therefore we will be
holding a Faerie Meditation Friday and Saturday,
7:00 - 7:30 pm EST. Our 'beacon' will be a rainbow-
hued elven star with a silver leaf floating in front:

We hope to weave majik that will thin the Veils and
help open the Gates to Faery. Won't you join with
us in helping restore majik to its rightful place in this world?

For those who can make the journey:
from the east (NY, PA, MA): take I-90w to Rt 528
(Madison) head north on 528 to rt. 84. take 84 west.

from the south: if coming from points southeast,
(WV,VA,MD) take I-77 north; from the southwest
(IN,MO, KY) take I-71. both routes connect with I-271
which avoids downtown cleveland traffic. take I-271
north to 90e to the Vrooman Rd exit. head north
on Vrooman Rd (this takes a couple sharp dips
and turns) Rt 84 is at the top of a hill; take the hard
right turn and head east on 84.

from the west (IL, MI): take I-90e to the Vrooman
Rd exit. follow directions above to Rt 84.

Polebridge Campground is on Rt 84, 3 miles east of
Vrooman Rd. Look for a sign with a buffalo on it.
With luck, there will be a light-up sign with the festival
name out front as well.

the festival gate will be further back in the site; look
for our signs. There will be a variety of workshops on faery
and Otherkin-related topics. Drum circles, open stage, bands
(Fractals - ambient psychedelic dance-groove; BabaGaia -
deep space worldbeat) Carnival Xaotika (magic/illusion circus
sideshow) and a Sat. night faery ritual are all planned.

Payment for the site - $5.00 perday/night payable to
Polebridge. the festival fee is $10.00. this gets you
into all workshops and festival events.

This is our chance to create a bit o' Faery on this side of the Veil,
a true fae/elven/Other community, and finally be who we REALLY are!
