I'm really getting to like Hans Zimmer. I've been wondering how he got

A few similarities, yes, but I love what's been described as the
unabashedly SF take that this movie has on Superman, with the whole
Kryptonian backstory especially. It's great IMO.

He's been nominated for an Oscar eight times and won for Lion King.
This movie should be his ninth nomination and second win IMO, but
who knows if the Academy won't just snub its nose at the whole movie
like they do with everything in the genre. Nevertheless, the music on
that Nokia trailer is just outstanding. Super Kudos to Hans.
