WWI flying ace and Veterans Day?

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Shultz usually draw a WWI flying ace
strip on Veterans Day. It might be Memoroal Day but I remember that on
one of the war holidays he usually draws a strip with Snoopy looking for
the Red Baron, sitting in a cafe drinking root beer, etc. Can anyone tell
me for sure? This year he didn't continue the pattern.

It's all a foul lie! Snoopy never drinks root beer. He QUAFFS it.
