Snoopy growls loudly, scaring all the birds away. Snoopy then says,
"A
friend is NOT someone who takes advantage of you!"
24. CB and Linus are throwing Snoopy's supper dish on a stick when
Snoopy comes back and angrily takes his dish from them. (Snoopy,
"What can you do with people who refuse to recognize the sanctity of
the supper dish?")
25. CB is distantly following the LRHG, wishing he was walking with
her. Later, CB finally walks back home, and, seeing Snoopy, he says,
"Hello Snoopy. You're not much of a substitute for a little
red-haired
girl."
26. Linus draws a comic for English class. (A girl with a headache
caused by her ears being too tight.) He reads the comic to Snoopy,
who
then gives him a "Good luck, you're going to need it" handshake.
27. Linus yells at Snoopy for putting teeth marks all over his
bat--until
Lucy shows up and tells Linus that they're not teeth marks; she used
to
the bat to hit rocks. Shamed, Linus offers the bat to Snoopy, asking
him
if he'd like a bite. Linus then takes off running as Snoopy chases
him.
28. Lucy convinces CB to try and kick a football she's holding,
showing
him a contract that says she won't pull the football away. CB falls
for it,
and, after Lucy once again pulls the football away, Lucy says,
"Peculiar
thing about this document, it was never notarized!"
29. CB calls for Snoopy to get in the car and Snoopy jumps right in.
CB
then tells Linus that his father is taking Snoopy to get a rabies
shot.
Snoopy says, "Rats! I thought we were going out to dinner!"

pounces on Linus' head. Linus keeps right on walks, and Snoopy notes
that, "Somehow, my attacks always seem to lack force!"
31. A rotating sprayer blasts Snoopy with water several times until
CB
turns it off. The sprayer off, Snoopy "bleahs" it and walks off.
32. Snoopy and Linus are looking closely on the ground, searching for
something. Snoopy is growing more desperate, when Linus pops up and
says he's found what they are looking for. Snoopy is relived, saying,
"I'm lost with my contact lenses!"
33. Snoopy wakes up at night, suddenly cold. He runs to the house
and
LOUDLY kicks at the door. CB gets up and opens the door, asking,
"Why can't you just scratch at the door like other dogs?"
34. Snoopy repeatedly kicks at the door, wanting out and then back
in.
After several panels of this, we see CB on the phone saying, "Hello,
humane society? I have a question..."
35. CB wakes up and, looking outside, says, "Snow!" CB runs over to
Linus' house and tells him about it snowing last night. Linus looks
around, confused, not seeing snow anywhere. CB says, "Not down
here... up on the peak!" We then see Snoopy, whose nose is covered in
snow.
36. Lucy watches at Linus writes a letter to the "Great Pumpkin" in
which Linus asks the tGP to bring him and Lucy lots of presents. They
go outside and Linus stands on Lucy's back, enabling him to get high
enough to put the letter in the mailbox. (Lucy, "Greed makes people
do
strange things!")
37. Linus builds several dozen tiny snowmen. He then builds a snow
podium, and, facing the snowmen, (who are arranged like an audience)
he says, "I suppose you're all wondering why I asked you here today.."
38. Linus makes a snowball and tosses it at Snoopy, knocking off the
large black hat he's wearing. Linus then makes another snowball,
intending to throw it when Snoopy turns around with a sign that says,
"If
you throw that snowball at me, I'll have the human society on you so
fast
it'll make your head swim!" Snoopy walks off, and Linus says,
"Whoever paints those signs for him does a good job!"
39. CB makes a pile of snowballs and begins yelling off-panel to a
group of people, saying he's not afraid of them and he's ready. When

PELTED with snowballs. Lying on the ground CB says, "Why do I
always say things like that?"
40. It's snowing heavily as Snoopy wakes up and awaits breakfast. CB

41. Snoopy wades through a heavy snow at night and borrows a broom
from CB. He sweeps the snow off his doghouse, returns the broom, and
goes back to the doghouse, only to discover it's once again completely
covered in snow. (This comic also features a picture of Sally, her
tongue
out during a snow fall with the caption "Happiness is catching
snowflakes on your tongue.")
42. Snoopy is on top of the doghouse, thinking about how cold it's
been
all winter. A bird lands on the doghouse and begins talking. After a
bit,
Snoopy kicks the bird off his house, saying, "I'm in no mood to listen
to
someone tell about what a great time he had in Bermuda."
43. Snoopy begins talking to a nearby snowman, trying to resist
becoming friends with him because he knows the sun will eventually
melt him. Snoopy's soon unable to resist talking to the snowman
though,
and, of course, the sun soon comes out and melts the snowman, leaving
Snoopy in tears. We cut to Linus and CB who are sitting at a window,
watching everything. Linus mentions how sensitive Snoopy is, and CB
says, "Uh, huh... but I noticed he wasn't too sensitive to eat the
carrot!"
44. CB is standing in a line of kids at a theater. He mentions how
he
really shouldn't be there, how he should be at home helping his
mother,
and about how much homework he has. When it's his turn, CB tells the
ticket-seller, "One, please" and heads on inside. Linus, who has
behind
CB the whole time, says, "Good ol' wishy-washy Charlie Brown... one,
please."
45. Lucy sees Linus building a snowman and asks what he'd do if she
knocked it over. Linus says there's not much he could do, and gives
Lucy a long speech about how he's basically at her mercy. Lucy
decides
to walk off, and Linus says, "Little by little I'm becoming an expert
at
the soft answer..."

outside,

Schroeder about something cute his baby sister Sally did yesterday.

as
long as possible (and how he'd probably be an embarrassment to the
entire tree.)
5. Lucy draws a picture of the "human heart", saying that half of it
is
filling with love and the other side is filled with love. This leads

over
into the hate!"

night,
"...and please don't let Miss Othmar crack up." Finally, Linus
remembers the eggshells, but forgets that it's Saturday. Linus

fashion (ie, screaming at him, "DON'T FORGET THE EGGSHELLS!"
when he's about ready to fall asleep.)
7. Lucy goes around spreading the word about Beethoven's upcoming
birthday. When Schroeder finds out that Lucy thinks Beethoven's first

and Lucy come along, assessing the situation. CB calls the human

Sally around in her stroller. This makes both Patty (not Peppermint)

Linus angry, to which Sally says, "My first year in this world and
already
I have guilt feelings." CB decides to cut the ride short so he can
play the
last inning of the game. CB ends up striking out, losing the game.
In the
end, both his team and his mother are mad at him. CB apologizes to

can lick this old world yet..." Sally holds her bottle up, saying,
"I'll
drink to that!"

legal,
saying, "Good... I wouldn't want to be accused of taking part in a
