Many of you may be wondering, or may once have wondered and then lost
interest; "just what did happen to those lovely X-Writer people? Y'know
the ones I mean, the original X-Men revisionist fan fiction group. Where
are they now?"
Well, the best laid plans of mice and editors rarely go to plan. We went
away for the summer and came back to find our mailing list had died.
Kaputed. Exploded. Whatever. On top of which, it's all been a logistical
nightmare and I have all the organisational skills of a whelk. All the
same, we're not dead yet. So, starting soon and for the foreseeable
future, we will be making ACFF our forum. Since we're already two years
old (in real time. In terms of issue numbers we're only about a year
old), you may want to take the time to catch up with us, so visit the
archive at: http://coyote.accessnv.com/lia/
Now, X-Writers has had it's problems in the past. Cross-title
continuity and plain old real lives can both interfere with the
regularity with which issues come out. However, we can promise you that
when the issues do come out, they're always well worth reading.
Keep 'em peeled for the forthcoming "Funeral of Charles Francis Xavier",
and the start of a brave new age. And if you want to know how Xavier
died, well, you'd better just go check the archive. :)
