META: Fanfic writer looking for artist

No, this is not another of these "Illustrate my comics script for me and
we can get published!" things.

I am a completely unartistic person who has found myself in charge of a
fanfic shared world project to genderswap Marvel mutants. Thus, Xavier
and Magneto are women and always were; Storm and Rogue are men and always
were; you get the idea. Dr. Doom et al remained the same because they
aren't mutants.

I'd like for an artist to do sketches of some of "my" characters-- the
swapped characters I've adopted personally-- in particular Erika Magnus,
aka Polaris, the genderswap of Magneto. I am a very picky person and I
really only want very high-quality stuff, but on the other hand, I'm
willing to pay for it. So if you are familiar with Marvel mutants and you
are a *good* artist and you think you might enjoy doing such a thing...
and getting paid for it... email me at alara @ mindspring . com (remove

Any work will get scanned (if you didn't scan it first) and posted to the
XXY homepage (http://alara.dreamhost.com/xxy.html) . You will also have
every right to post the scans to your own web page, and, actually,
anywhere you want. I'm commissioning time spent doing the piece, not the
actual work (a cheesy legalistic fiction that allows me to pay for it.)
