I don't want to insult my Australian friends, but this post really cracked
me up. Maybe it's because I'm Canadian (so I know what it's like to have
celebrities that "nobody" else has heard of - "The Hip" can sell out a
Canadian Stadium in 3 hours, but in NY you can get front row seats to se
them jam at the local pub). Anyway I have no idea who Danny McMaster is, but
I could imagine myself watching "Australia's # 1 Impressionist/Comedian" on
video and saying, "Who is that supposed to be? Who is that supposed to be?
Ooh - crocodile Dundee - that's funny! Who is that supposed to be?"

Or even - the majority of Australians. Only because of tv comedy connections
do I know of this person. Your average outback Joe would possibly only know
this man as the voice behind 'Australia's Funniest Home Video Show' on a
national network. No sorry, the VOICES - not just voice; you know
commentating those hilarious wedding, pool party and dune buggy slip ups? So
the chap can't even be known for his own voice.
