Jeff, Jeff, Jeff! What? What? What? Comedian late 80's?

Alright, this may be a longshot, but around 1988 a friend of mine had
a video of a comedian - first name "Jeff". The part of his act that I
remember most was where the guy put on boxing headgear and gloves and
acted like an amateur boxer that had taken one too many to the skull
:) He would say, "Jeff?" and look around as if someone was calling
him, then respond to himself, "What?". It went more like "Duhhhh,
Jeff? Jeff? Jeff?... What? What? What?" while he looked around for the
person calling him. It was kinda funny at the time and I'd like to see
if it held up :)
