FS; Three Stooges Kook's Tour RARE FILM VERSION! =========
==========================================================

For Sale:

Three Stooges - "Kook's Tour"
Their Last & Funniest Film
Super 8 Sound in Color
Niles Release

-----------------------------------------
RARE FILM VERSION - NOT THE VIDEO!
-----------------------------------------

Here's your chance for all you Three Stooges fans to invest in a rare Three
Stooges collectible. This is an original Super 8 color/sound FILM version of
the last Three Stooges film ever made. Kook's Tour was filmed in 1969(!) and
released in 1970 with the intention of being a pilot for a television
series. Back in 1984, the book "Stoogemania" had already valued this film at
$200. It is worth even more today as a rare Three Stooges collectible
despite the fact that it was released on video a few years ago.

From "The Stoogephile Trivia Book"...

"The last Stooges TV pilot was titled "Kook's Tour." This one, also filmed
in color, was to be the initial entry in a travelogue series starring the
Three Stooges. The pilot was again helmed by Norman Maurer. However, during
production of the project, Larry Fine suffered a stroke, forcing him into
retirement. The proposed series was scrapped, and, as this book goes to
press, "Kook's Tour" has yet to be shown on television. It has, however,
been sold in Super-8 format for home movie viewing and has also been seen at
various private screenings."

Includes the original case with color illistration. I viewed the film
several years ago and it seemed to be in good shape. Photos of this item are

Apparently there's some rule that says to sell anything on Ebay you

anything of which less than ten billion copies were made as
"SUPER-MEGA-RARE!"

The above is true...but the "Their Last & Funniest Film" line actually comes
from the film box package itself.

this is also on vhs and available everywhere. the 8mm copy would make a
nice display item (if you can stand looking at the terrible illustration
of the stooges, where did this guy go to art school?) or great for
screening at a private gathering.

Is it just me, or does Moe look far worse in the cartoon on the box of
"Kook's Tour" than he does in the film?

Especially when their cheap, bottom-of-the-barrel EP tapes are labeled
