Save your money- both stink! In fact, you'd have to pay me twice that
much to watch Kook's Tour again. What were they thinking???!!!

I can't speak to Kook's Tour, but I do have "Jerk of all Trades" (this was
previously released as "Goofs of All Trades", according to Saxon Emil Sitka). I
enjoy it. It shows the Stooges in a different atmosphere as this was filmed before
a live audience. The sound effects are not as good as in the shorts, and the
performance area is constrained. But the thing I like least about it is it was
released without credits. None of the supporting cast is identified. Of course Emil
Sitka and Symona Boniface are easily recognised, however there is another fellow in
the skit that I do not know. If anyone can identify the pressure cooker salesman,
I'd appreciate it.

I disagree. I've seen them both. "Jerks" is not great but it's a rare chance to
see the stooge's perform live. At one point, Larry is supposed to execute a gag
with a window screen and it doesn't work, and he fakes it by just tearing the
thing down. That's a lesson to remember if you're on the stage. Whatever
happens, just keep performing!

"Kooks Tour" would have been better if it was shorter. The combination of
travelogue and low-key slapstick is quite pleasant. Curiously Larry, whose
stroke during production ended the Stooges as an act, is the most vital
performer here. As curios, bith are priceless.
