another funny line is when Curly the waiter comes up to Moe and his boys after
they ordered hamburgers
Curly- I'm sorry gentlemen you can't have the hamburgers, the meats too fresh
Moe- that ain't the only fresh thing around here
What cracks me up about Larry is how he would start cackling whenever any of
the boys was in a ridiculous situation.....like in "Heavenly Daze" when the
attorney gives them a sock filled with Shemp's "worldly possessions" and when
Moe takes the money out, he gets bitten by a set of dentures.......when he
pulls his hand out of the sock and sees the dentures stuck to Moe's hand, Larry
points to it and starts laughing.........Moe takes the dentures off his hand
and attachs them to Larry's nose and says ,"Laugh at that!"........
hehehe....still laughing..........

"You burnt my little bugle!" (another good one)

What always stuck in my mind about that short as a kid was Larry doing
wind-sprints through the streets, hair flailing out behind him,
desperately looking for something to play "that weasel tune"!

Curly: "Well, it was like this, Judgee--"
Lawyer: "Please address the court as 'Your Honor'!
Curly: "Well, it was like this, My Honor--"
Lawyer: "YOUR Honor, not MY Honor!!"
Curly: "Why? Don't ya like him?"

Larry's part was that of link man and sometimes straight man. He was the
neutral territory between Moe and Curly.
He was only as dumb as Curly some of the time and only as smart as Moe
some of the time.
In a few later shorts with Shemp and Besser he had more lines and I
thought that he would have done well in his own shorts but his resemblance
to Leon Erol might have been too close for it to be a success.

"Don't do that....it's a bad habit!"
