Please view and sign the petition! Here's the description:

PURPOSE OF THIS PETITION: My name is Greg S. and the purpose of this petition
is to get the incredible toy company, McFarlane Toys (makers of the action
figure line Spawn and other music/movie related lines), to produce detailed
action figures of the Three Stooges; including Moe, Curly, and Larry (and
perhaps more Stooges such as Shemp if successful).

WHY SHOULD THREE STOOGES FIGURES BE PRODUCED? As many fans know, high-quality
action figures of the Three Stooges have never been produced. The Three
Stooges were comic geniuses who have touched the lives of millions all over the
world. With the Stooges being played every day on cable television and many
local networks, a heavy fanbase still remains all over the world!

WHY SHOULD MCFARLANE TOYS MAKE THE ACTION FIGURES? Since 1994, McFarlane toys
has been making the most-detailed, quality-packed action figures around. I
believe that this company is the only toy company out there which can
manufacture highly detailed Three Stooges action figures while at the same time
give the consumer an incredible level of quality.

WOULD PEOPLE BUY THESE FIGURES IF MADE? By signing this petition you can help
the companies know that people are indeed interested. With McFarlane toys
producing mildly obscure lines lately, I believe that the Three Stooges would
fare well in toy stores! With McFarlane Toys' quality, there will be no
problem!

HOW DO I SIGN UP? Please click the sign the petition button at the bottom of
this screen ( go to
http://www.123petitions.com/cgi-bin/system/sign1.cgi?id=GLS...@aol.com$2 ) and
proceed with your name and e-mail. Comments are welcome, but please, use
appropriate language. If vulgarity is used I will have to remove your name,
this petition is of the highest importance to me. I would like it to be taken
seriously. Vulgarity will not be taken seriously. Thank you!

DISCLAIMER:The author of this petition is not affiliated with Comedy 3
Entertainment/Productions, Global Icons, or McFarlane Toys. The Three Stooges
name, Curly, Larry, Moe, and Shemp are registered trademarks of Comedy 3
Entertainment/Productions and Global Icons Licensing, Inc. By using their
names, I am not collecting any personal gain, whatsoever. McFarlane, McFarlane

Thank You for Reading!

I have a set of Three Stooges figures. Bought them from a
discount/liquidation store that was selling them because they would not sell
in regular outlets.

Sorry, no Shemp.

I would like to sign that petition, myself!
Speaking of petitions, too bad nobody's doing one to send to Spumco to make a
Shemp doll, or one to Headliners.

In the meantime, I will sign that petition!

Three Stooges action figures DO exist.......even Shemp and Joe DeRita! They
are available at Figures.com for 15.00 each, however, the hair is painted on
and not authentic looking.....

Let's get a petition for Mattel to put out Stooges dolls like they do the Lucy
dolls!

Now that's more like it!

I know about these. Again, I repeat, no quality action figures of the Three
Stooges have been made. I have the Figures Inc. mock-ups and they are horrid.

Yeah, I only got the Shemp one, as there is nothing available except a T shirt
or two.......my son said it doesn't even look like him.

Now, about a year or so ago, I was watching the HSC network, and they had FAO
Schwartz edition of Three Stooges dolls, Barbie sized, and I got all three of
them for just 32!!! Hair on Moe and Larry is authentic, not painted
on......they are dressed in the golf outfits and even come with little golf
clubs.....they have full clothes on, even underwear and socks and
shoes........and they REALLY look like them!

Those are the only ones I know that are of any good....sometimes, you can find
them on eBay....

Greg, Just finished signing the petition. There is another toy company
that makes great action figures, "Dragon Toys". I am a huge fan of
Winona Ryder and a few months ago on one my Winona newsgroups I
subscribe to someone sent the group info about an action figure Dragon
Toys just produced. An action figure called Winona in a N.Y.P.D sniper
outfit (with all the related gear) and the "spitting" image of Winona
Ryder! Dragon Toys produces military action figures only, but they
would do a great job in reproducing the Stooges in miniature. The
hardest thing to find are display cases the right size to display the
action figures. But I lucked out, here in Las Vegas, we have a mall near
the airport which has a store called Toy Liquidators and they have
display cases over a foot high for $5, what a bargain. Let's hope the
petition does some good. Take care, Rusty

Thank you very much for signing the petition! I have gotten some grief, I must
say, from it. Still, it's a hope I have and nobody can crush it.

I haven't heard of Dragon Toys before. I'll look around the net and take a
gander.

Here's an idea! Let's make two petitions! One to Spumco and one to
Headliners to ask them to make a Shemp doll and a Shemp six-inch statue!

P.S. Glad to hear you finally got your Shemp doll, Laura!

hehehehe..maybe so! I want to go, but I have no one to stay with the kiddo's
overnight.......last year, I got to go, but only because my then 18 yo high
schooler was in town and stayed with them at night while the sitter came and
watched them after school.......

That's okay......I'm going this summer to both Vegas AND CA, to make up for it!

Might not be a bad idea. McFarlane does quality work. They've done Movie
Maniacs, Universal Monsters, the Beatles in Yellow Submarine, as well as
other rock stars like Alice Cooper and Kiss. Maybe they could do a line
of classic comedians, and include Laurel & Hardy, Chaplin, Keaton, W.C.
Fields, as well as the Stooges. It couldn't hoit.

The company that makes the This Is Spinal Tap figures (Sideshow Toys)
did an incredible job, down to the Zucchini that you can stuff down
Derek Small's leather pants! I recommend them above McFarlane, except
they have spotty distribution (we've all seen the Todd lines of
Beatles, etc, but I don't know *anyone* besides myself who has the Tap
figures. The figures are modeled on the old-style G.I.Joe type, but are
even bigger (11"). Sideshow seems to be a film-memorabilia-based
company, too. That's a good reason to think they'd like the Stooges
idea. Truth to tell, though, as long as someone's making "crappy"
Stooge dolls, the license will be tied up, I imagine.
