I recently obtained a fair copy of the Three Stooges final project, the Kook's Tour TV pilot. It was produced/writtern/directed by Norman Mauer. Does anybody know why this has not been released on video (officially)?

I don't know why Kook's Tour hasn't been released. It's probably no great shakes, but it would be a kick to see the Stooges' final fimed work, just like it was a kick to see them in Soup to Nuts last year.

An hour long version was completed and released to the home market on super-8 in 1980. Why it was never released on video is beyond me. I heard it was because Norman Maurer (producer & Moe's son-in-law) hated the finished product.
