I've never seen this, and I'm afraid to.

Don't be afraid but don't expect a Marx Brothers film. A lot of famous
actors had cameo roles in it and three of them were Groucho, Harpo and
Chico. Oh, and don't expect to laugh either

That's what I'm afraid of.

I would recommend renting this film along with the Brothers solo
efforts, to all curious die hard Marx fans, if only to put a face on
the titles.

This is due for release on July 21 (this Tuesday). It only seems to be
available for sale from Warner's site. I tried Amazon and only found used?
copies on sale for double the retail price and Deep Discount didn't list it at
all. Anyone here know where I can purchase it cheaper than the $19.95 that
Warner wants for it?

TIA
Spike

The titles on the Warners Archive site are DVD-R titles that are made
to order. By that I mean, when you place an order for a copy of any
title from the Warner Archives, they make that copy right then and
there. No fuss, no muss. The only extra is usually a trailer for the
movie. It's a good idea in that Warner doesn't have to press thousands
of copies of these titles and have them sitting somewhere in a
warehouse collecting dust. And if it weren't for this concept, some
titles might not even see the light of day.

Hi Cartoonguy!

I'm after this movie too. It is available here:

http://www.wbshop.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-WB-Site/default/Search-Show?q=story+of+mankind

However, as I'm in Australia they won't sell to me. If you purchase,
would you consider selling me a burned copy of yours?
All I'm after is the main movie on a plain disc mailed in a plain
sleeve. I would pay up $10 for it...what do you think?

Thanks.

I ordered mine last week and got it this week. Pretty fast service!
