Not dead, but definitely in some sort of limbo. I see fewer postings
on other groups as well, (Laurel and Hardy, Three Stooges). I do
believe it is not from lack of interest, but for more personal
reasons, I now many have posted about their job losses, big corporate
downsizing and outsourcing has become the norm, and that can be very
devastating, plus any news worthy topics involving the Marx Brothers
has been next to nothing. I also have noticed that the number of
classic DVD releases by major studios has been down this year. Times
are bad; unemployment, foreclosures, gas prices, all at their highest,
while the stock market continues to perform lower. We are seeing more
and more similarities to the great depression of the 1930’s, and like
in those days maybe people are turning to the classic films and
viewing them more often for their own self escapism . Until then we
just have to keep checking in every once in a while for any new
postings. Take care all; hope to see all back here soon.

I'm still here. How about a quiz to jazz things up?
What was Harpo's name in "Go West?"
First one to answer correctly gets a set of steak knives.

Hmmm...I don't know, I am a liittle "Rusty" when it comes to my Marx
Brothers trivia.

I think for that instead of a steak knife you get a stake
