OT: (somewhat) DVD Hacks

There has been talk of people getting multiregion dvd players so you
might want to check these links out. This is for dvd player hacks, where
you can press a combination of buttons on your remote or the player
itself and find hidden modes like region or macrovision etc. Maybe
someone will get lucky.

My guess is if there's a hidden ability to play any region then there must be a
converter built in. I really don't know and I just wanted everyone to have the chance to
find out. My dvd player plays PAL svcd's with no trouble at all. Interesting.

One could always order the DVDs and try it out first.
