Bill Hicks. Those who know his work should enjoy this show, but even
fans will be amazed at how "dark" Hicks is during this performance. The
crowd is subdued and Hicks, who's working with a fever, takes issue
with their complacency almost immediately. It kind of goes downhill
from there. It's not a total disaster gig, just one of those
performances that's more confrontational than funny. 'I feel like I'm
doing this in the Great Northwest, and I'm all alone in a fucking
clearing on a tree stump,' Hicks says, punctuating the silence with his

AN oddity insofar as Bill seems to actively WANT the audience to turn on
him.
(Also it sounds like whoever has cleaned this up has altered the sample
rate, Bill voice sounds too low in tone.)
