I forgot to post tournament all-stars. They were:
1. Bill Crew, Central Florida
2. John Saluda, North Carolina
3. Josh Boorstin, Chicago
4. John Harris, Virginia

Team Losses
>1. Chicago I 1
>2. Maryland I 4
>3. Brigham Young I 6
>4. Maryland II 4
>5. Georgia Tech I 2
>6. Brigham Young II 7
>7. MIT 5

In retrospect, it looks like Tech I got screwed pretty badly. Their
only two losses of the tournament came in the playoffs to the two
Maryland teams, and they beat the eventual winner Chicago and ended up
only fifth. Meanwhile, BYU I with 6 losses finished third ahead of
Maryland II, Tech I, and MIT who all had fewer losses. Maybe the round-
robin results are more indicative of team strength than the playoff
results, though I think most people would agree that Chicago I was
the strongest team at the tournament.

Congratulations go to Chicago I for defending their championship and
to Jim Dendy and Ramesh Kannappan for running Nationals.

I assume that's the last hurrah for Josh, John, Peter and Sendhil as a
team. Congratulations to them. I think that at least for
invitationals/ACF type competition they are probably the best foursome
I've seen play in about a decade of hanging around this sport, not
counting the incredible teams that make it to the finals of the Summer
Masters tourneys in Knoxville. Just wanted to get some plaudits on the
record.

Top 8 Record Against Each Other

Note though that Chicago I dropped a game to Tech I who lost to
Maryland I who lost in the finals to Chicago I. I think the total
record this year among these three is:

Chicago I Maryland I Tech I
Chicago I - 2-1 0-3
Maryland I 1-2 - 2-2
Tech I 3-0 2-2 -

Tech I is probably the only team this year to have not lost to
Chicago I. Between them, these three teams have won 15 out of the
27 invitationals this year. Despite what may have happened at
Nationals, these schools are the top three ACF programs in the
country. BYU comes in a distant fourth IMO.
