Hi Guys,
I have missed all of you so much I can't even begin to tell you! :-) When I
discovered I could read & post through Topper Towers I almost had a heart
attack. (Jodi, you are truly a goddess & I can't begin to thank you enough!)
I want to thank all of you who have emailed me and tried to help me figure out
how to make it back here. You're all a bunch of sweethearts. :-)
I hope everyone is well & that your Dawn families continue to grow! hehehe
Things have been up & down with me. On the personal side, a good friend of ours
almost lost his eye in an accident. Poor fellow got up out of bed, lost his
balance, and landed full force against a doorknob. Ouch! Anyway, while he's
been recuperating my hubby & I have been holding down his computer store for
him. It's been really hard because neither of us is in the best of health,
but... it has meant some much needed cash.
hehehe And, as we all know... cash leads to Dawn. LOL I must tell you all
that I have had some of the best luck with my collection. I actually now have a
Maureen & a Longlocks and I didn't have to pay over $15 for either of them. The
Dawn goddess above has been kind to me. :)
I found a Jo Ann Fabrics and got 2 Janet boxes. They're great, but damn those
labels are hard to get off! I found that after carefully peeling them off I was
able to clean up the residue with simple green and a soft cloth. Anyway, I've
got my second box filled now, which gives me a total of 12 dollies (yep, my
hubby still calls 'em that!)
I'm not going to have any time until after our friend takes the shop back over.
But, when we're out of here (next week or the one after) I'll have lots more
time on my hands AND (I'm so excited!) a DSL internet connection! Woo Hoo!
Then I'll be able to be online anytime I want day or night at smokin' fast
speeds. :-) That will be like Christmas & my birthday all rolled into one!
Anyway, I've got an apt. picked out at the Towers & have named it Morgana's
Mansion of Miscellaneous. So, when I get time I'm going to get it set up &
holler at everybody to come & visit. ;-)
I guess I'd better get back to work & quit goofing off. I just wanted to let
you all know I'm alive & thinking of you all often! I'm not sure when I'll get
back here to check messages & post, but it should be soon. Meanwhile, if you
feel like emailing at me, please do! (By the way, Di, I still need to answer
your last one - sorry about that - I didn't forget you!).

Its about time you found your way back.I thought maybe your evil sister n law
had converted you!Doll show at the Expo on the 21st,another one on May 12....my
birthday....at Montgomery Park.The May show is called think Pink and i believe

I have wondered where you went to. Your friend sure is cool to let you
guys run his place. Extra Dawn dough is always a good thing ;)

Hey those Janet boxes do have the worst labels don't they? What I was
doing was just laying them in the box on their tummies, and when you
close the case you can just see them from the underside. That is until
my sister told me I could get that goop off with WD-40. Has anyone
tried that? It sure did work. It kinda just dissolves it and you wipe it away.
You have to rub it at first.
Good deal on your dolls. I hope the Dawn goddess remains good to you and
you keep finding more Dawn treasures!

bitch" or "whippin' a shitty", both appropriate for my situation!). my #$%@*%
DSL company went bankrupt without letting anyone know! i am reduced from 800k
down to a measly 56k, and to add injury to insult- back on aol (no offense aol
lovers!). i have to wait 60 days for my new DSL line to be activated.
